I think his hair took longer to do than everything combined, and it doesn’t even look nice.
I need to draw more, and I’ve been telling myself that for a looong while now. Some images from G’s calendar came up, and I felt like drawing them! I finally felt like drawing something! (yay~) I’ve got a few more I think I might like to draw his hair is making me stray away from that though still, and that makes me happy.
I’ve posted these before, but one was scanned, and the other was a camera-phone picture with the oval surrounding it folded down. So here are shots of them framed! I’m going to try and keep actually decent pictures of them up from now on… I just need to steal my sister for a few moments from now on. I had one more that’s a Christmas present to my Aunt, and has been my favorite so far, but I’ve already wrapped that. I’ve still got the pattern, however, and I plan on re-making it to go in a matching frame with the other birdy you see here, for my mother.

It has been a while since I’ve worked on this…. Added more dimension to her face, and worked a bit more on her dress. GIMP 2.8 is different D: and omg do I get lag.
Just noticed the ear needs a lot more work, but I don’t think I can handle having my pen show up nearly an inch behind where it should be any longer. :\ It shall have to wait.
